The English Cutler - Axes
Gränsfors Bruks axes are world famous and rightly so.
They are handmade with care and a thorough understanding of what an axe is, how it works and how it should be made – they all come with a 20 year guarantee. These are some of the best tools I have handled.
They make two ranges of axes. The first are drop forged and are batch produced and the cost reflects this; these are mainly made to modern patterns. The second range of axes are individually hand forged and these are mainly their fully functional historical reproductions; the price reflects this.
All the axes come with a hickory handle; the modern ones have a brand in the handle that can be removed, and the historical ones come without a brand.
