The scabbards I make will be of the correct time period and specification for the sword with a high level of detailing and all the belt and harness requirements to enable you to wear it.
I can use a wide variety of colours and belt fittings, and undertake a wide variety of metalwork aspects, but my work tends to be more on the 'austere' end rather than heavily decorated and I have given prices for scabbards similar to those shown in the gallery pages.

Poplar core covered in veg tan leather and brass edging and strapping with brass, bronze or pewter plates according to style. Scabbard is supplied with an over the shoulder strap. - Saxon Scabbard - £440
Poplar core, fleece lined and covered in veg tan leather. Scabbard will have a suitable chape and a strap bridge and belt or baldric. - Viking - £480
