Before I started making these goods full time I worked in Special Effects for 10 years, 6 of them as an Effects Supervisor, and still work as an engineer on shows such as Scrapheap Challenge, so as well as making fully authentic working items, I understand all about the media industries.

I understand that deadlines only ever come forward, I understand that yesterdays brief may change tomorrow and I understand that what the Director wants, is what he will get.

I also understand that often what the viewer expects, is what must be delivered, even when historically it may be wrong. This means that if you want me to advise you on historical detail and to supply the correct goods, I am happy to do so, but equally I can also supply goods to help achieve your art direction aims, even if they are ‘wrong’.
