Balestrino bows are small all steel bows of varying designs but are all loaded using the inbuilt screw and feature very powerful bows.
This bow is based on one at the Royal Armouries with some small changes.
It draws to 320lb and is 26cm long and 26cm wide with a top thumb trigger.
These bows were made from the early 16thC through to the mid 17th and are commonly called 'Assassins Bows' due to their presumed purpose.
