Basket Making Knives

The knives on the left have a full handle and short thin blade for good control and easy cutting with a rounded end to allow the blade to cut in deep baskets and awkward places. The knives on the right are pickers and are for cutting off the ends in the bottom of baskets and have an edge on the end of the blade. Both blades are tempered to be very hard so they stay sharp. These must be kept very sharp to work, so read my 'How to sharpen a knife' section on the instructions page. No specific date.
